SSC CHSL 2024 Exam Structure
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) examination in two stages for various positions:
- Tier – I: Objective Multiple Choice, conducted online.
- Tier – II: Objective Multiple Choice + Skill Test & Typing Test, conducted online. This tier includes three sections, each with two modules.
Important Changes in SSC CHSL Exam Pattern 2024:
- The Tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL 2024 will be conducted online.
- A descriptive paper of 100 marks will be introduced, to be completed within 60 minutes in pen and paper mode.
- The time limit for the Tier -I examination has been reduced from 75 minutes to 60 minutes.
- Tier II will now include Objective Multiple Choice + Skill Test & Typing Test.
SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam Pattern 2024:
This is an objective exam conducted online. The Tier 1 exam of SSC CHSL consists of four sections, with a total of 100 questions accounting for 200 marks. The subject-wise breakdown is as follows:
