UPSC IES ISS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the UPSC IES ISS 2024 exam in terms of educational qualification and age limit are as follows:
- Educational Qualification:
- IES: Candidates should possess a master’s degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics.
- ISS: Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics.

UPSC IES ISS 2024 Exam Date
The UPSC IES/ISS 2024 exam is scheduled for 21st June. The exact timings will be disclosed on the admit card, which can be downloaded from the official website a week before the exam. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for updates.
UPSC IES ISS 2024 Selection Process
The selection process for the UPSC IES/ISS 2024 consists of two stages: Written Exam and Interview. Detailed information is as follows:

- Mode: Combination of Conventional (essay) and Objective Type
- Duration: 3 hours for most papers, 2 hours for Statistics Papers I & II
- Questions: Covering subjects like General English, General Studies, and Economics/Statistics

How to Fill out UPSC IES Form 2024:

Step 2: Login by providing the registered Email ID/Mobile Number and entering the OTP sent by UPSC.
Step 3: Proceed to fill out Part 1 of the UPSC IES ISS Application Form, which includes basic candidate details such as eligibility and Photo ID.
Step 4: Upon completion of Part 1 of the application form, select the UPSC IES/ISS exam center from the provided list.
Step 5: Upload the most recent photograph, signature, and other documents as per the specified requirements for Part 2.
Step 6: Pay the necessary application fee for the UPSC IES ISS exam according to your category.
The application fee can be paid using debit, credit card, net banking, or UPI mode.
Step 7: Finally, Read and sign the declaration by clicking on the ‘I Agree’ option given end of the page.
